Included here are residency journals from the three artist residencies I’ve done since 2009. The drop-down menu will guide you to the specific residency in which you are interested.

These writings are journals, recorded daily. They are informal, showing work and thought in progress. They were written at the end of long days of painting and hiking and thus are not polished.  I have reordered them in this space so the days unfold through the chronology in which I encountered them. I have added final thoughts to a couple of the residencies, ideas and work which occurred after I returned home; these are not more polished but may summarize some of the adventure.
