  1. Hi June~

I recently retired from teaching at Emporia High School. As the former Student Council sponsor, I worked to identify Emporia High Alumni who might be good candidates for induction into the school’s Hall of Fame. Today I was cleaning up old school files and ran across and article published about you in the Emporia Gazette that I had saved. It did not say if you were an alumnus of Emporia High. While I am no longer on staff or the StuCo sponsor, I am still trying to help with the Hall of Fame. Do you mind sharing whether you attended Emporia High School or not? Thank you for letting me know.

Katie Bacon, Former EHS teacher for 33 years
